This pattern is perfect if you’re looking for:
✔ A relaxing knit with easy repeats
✔ A lightweight, wearable wrap
✔ A quick, satisfying project with timeless appeal
✔ Includes notes on how to modify for a fingering weight
Knit in airy Sandnes Garn Line, this piece drapes beautifully across the shoulders or around the neck—perfect for breezy evenings or elegant layering.
Beginner-friendly with simple, easily memorized stitch patterns, it’s a peaceful, meditative knit.
Skills Used
Knit, purl, yarn over, knit 2 together, working flat
Pattern Notes
This wrap is knit flat from end to end, alternating sections of Feather and Fan lace with smooth stockinette bands.
Gauge is not critical, but variations may affect final size and yardage.
For best results, block the finished piece to open up the lace and smooth the edges.
Yarn
Sandnes Garn Line
53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen
50 g / 110 m / 120 yd per skein
Yarn Amount Used:
650–675 yards (594–617 meters)
Sample used 276 grams total (approx. 662 yards / 605 meters) in color 1002 White
That’s 5 full skeins + 26 g of a 6th.
Note: Sandnes Garn Line falls somewhere between DK and light worsted. Ravelry had me list it as DK during setup, but it’s sometimes categorized as worsted depending on the source.
