Whether you’re heading back to school, or just need to take some notes, this dishcloth can help inspire you!

This pattern is good practice for intarsia techniques, as most of the striped middle section requires only one colour at a time, with the pencil and red vertical stripe as intarsia.

Yarn:
Shown in worsted weight cotton yarn (4) in six contrasting colours, approximately 91.5m/100 yards total (mostly white and blue). Cotton yarn is recommended for dishcloths; but any fibre (or weight) would work for the pattern.

Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the finished size and yardage required.

Needles: 4.5mm (US size 7) straight knitting needles

Finished Dimensions: Approximately 8.5” wide by 11” long.

Pattern instructions: Written and charted instructions
