Little Alice in Bloom is a child’s sweater knit in one piece from the top down with a stranded colourwork yoke, contrast edged ribbing, and an option for short or long sleeves. The pattern has been professionally graded, test knit, and tech edited. There is a schematic diagram included in the pattern.

Details:

Sizes:
A (B, C, D, E): 25 (27.25, 29, 31, 32.75)” / 63.5 (69.5, 74, 78.5, 83) cm finished chest circumference.(Additional measurements in schematic.) To fit ages approx 4 (6, 8) (10, 12) years

Sizes and Finished Measurements:
The measurements for the sizes above and in the schematic are for the finished sweater. The recommended ease is 2-3”/ 5-7.5 cm positive ease. Please select a size that is 2-3”/5-7.5 cm larger than the actual chest circumference, (or that will give you the preferred fit).

Techniques: stranded knitting in the round, increases, decreases
You Will Need:

Suggested Yarns:
NOTE: I used yarns from my stash for this project and you may want to do that as well, particularly for the contrast yarns in the smaller sizes which require very small amounts. None of the sizes will require a full 100g skein for the contrasting colours. You could also do this as a two colour project with only one contrast colour, (add the amounts for CC1 and CC2 together to get required amount of contrast colour yarn).
