Materials: 1 skein of Malabrigo Rios yarn and size 7 needles

Finished size: 4-7/8” x 46” (unblocked)

The checkerboard design of this small scarf works up quickly. With its lovely sheen and excellent stitch definition, colorful Malabrigo Rios yarn is an excellent choice for this one-skein scarf.

This pattern can be adjusted easily:
• Make it wider by adding pattern stitches in multiples of 4.
• Make it longer by using more yarn and continuing the checkerboard pattern for more rows.
• Make it bulkier by using a heavier yarn on larger needles.
• Make the K borders wider.
• Add fringe if you wish.
