Little Darlings are heirloom-inspired children’s socks that feature a delicate heart motif and comfortable everyday fit. Put them on little feet and let them go wherever childhood takes them.

The Particulars

Worked cuff-down in the round, these socks are constructed with a heel flap and gusset and a rounded toe. The colourwork is provided as a chart.

Sizes: Newborn (0-3 months), Infant (3-12 months), Toddler (1-3 years), Preschooler (3-5 years)

Yarn: Sample knit in Lichen and Lace 80/20 Sock in the colourway Linen for the main colour (MC) and KnitPicks Palette in the colourway Puma Heather for the contrast colour (CC).

MC: 20, 25, 30, 40 grams fingering-weight yarn

CC: 2 grams fingering-weight yarn for all sizes

Needles: US 1 (2.25 mm) for main body and US 2 (2.75 mm) for colourwork. DPNs or magic loop for working in the round.

Gauge: 8 sts per inch in stockinette stitch, using smaller needles.
