This is a lovely stitch and a fun moderately easy project for you to create!

Skill level: Intermediate to moderate. Knit romper, bucket hat and boots. Chicken pull toy and small basket are CROCHETED.

Materials Required for this Item:

dk/light weight yarn

For this romper, booties and bucket hat with brim I used Nako Paris in color (A) 4129, (B) #1043 You will have plenty left over yarn from each color I completed the little pull toy chicken using color #2098 for the body, wings and tail and #3641 for the crest and color #104 for the beak…I did not add feet to my chicken, again you will have plenty left over yarn from each ball. For the little basket I used a 4 Medium weight yarn by Bernat Fabwoolous in color oats. You will need roughly 28 meters of yarn to complete..

Size 4 mm (US 6) circular needle (16 inch length)

4.5mm crochet hook (for the little handbag)

For the chicken I downsized my needle to 3.25mm to create the size chicken I wanted.

Darning needle

4 stitch markers

8 - ½ inch buttons of choice and 2 - 1 inch buttons to create wheels on the chicken

2 safety eyes for chicken
