This sweater is knitted top down in the round, with raglan increases and german short
rows for a nice fit. It is designed to be quite boxy and oversized. Body and sleeve length are chosen by you. There is also a variety of neckline and cast off options so you can add your preferred style. To get your perfect fit, knit the size you would usually wear for a relaxed fit or size down if you would like it more fitted.

Some pattern notes
I have designed this sweater so you can add your own style when it comes to length for sleeves and body, and neckline style.
I will include images at the end of the pattern that show differences to the neckline. I have Included them separately so you have the option not to print them as I am aware how much ink it uses. I will also share some helpful video tutorials here.
For the main pattern instruction it will state to knit the neckline on smaller 4mm needles for 6 rows.
For one of my sweaters I did this with 5mm needles which made for a looser, more open neckline.
For another design I did K1,P1 rib on 5mm needles, for 12 rows then folded and stitched the neckline over for a chunkier neck.

Construction
You will be casting on stitches and joining in the round, knitting top down. Firstly knitting rows for the neckline before proceeding to place stitch markers to create raglan seams for the front, back and sleeves.
You will then knit some short rounds, making the back a little longer than the front to give a nice shape, before continuing to knit down, increasing stitches at raglan seams until you have the required amount of stitches. The sleeves are then separated from the body and left on hold whilst you complete the body. The sleeves are then picked up and knitted to the required length.
