The blanket shown used one 3 x Scheepjes Whirlette (4ply, 60% cotton, 40% acrylic, 100g/455m) in Star Fruit (870) and this made a blanket approximately 88 x 88cm.

This pattern is worked from the centre and uses the following UK crochet terms. (US equivalent in brackets below).

Ch - Chain
Tr - Treble stitch (US Double)
Htr - Half Treble stitch (US Half Double)
Ss - Slip stitch

The pattern includes an explanation and photos of each round up until round 12. From round 13, notes and diagrams enable you to follow the pattern until it reaches your desired size.
