IV. Notes

• You will notice that this pattern calls for a smaller hook than is standard for worsted weight yarn. This is to ensure that the yarn gauge is tight enough to maintain its shape, even after a million hugs.
• You will also notice the instruction to remove some stuffing from the Head when placing the safety eyes. Please resist the urge to complete Head stuffing only after eye placement. This is because you need the completed Head shape to correctly place the Ears and Muzzle.
• The Muzzle is attached to the Head in two parts; first around the Center Row 10’s Front Loop Only and second, around the perimeter of the Jowls. This helps retain the Muzzle’s shape.
• Arm stuffing should be light so that they rest on either side of the Body.
• The yarns used for Color 1 (Grey) and Color 4 (Red) are a slightly lighter than average worsted weight, so if you decide not to use the recommended yarns, please keep this in mind.
