Lejos and Mary
Lay dazed in Liula
Dreaming of tropical signs
As Lejos lay sleeping
She knelt over him weeping
Feeling the weight of his crimes
It seems he cut a man down in a Tennessee town
And he’s just licking his wounds for a spell
But it won’t take long, for the boys to catch on
And soon he’ll be running like hell.

Narrow Escape: Ray Lamontage, Trouble.

Liula is a dreamy, easy stole pattern to work up, specifically designed to use just one 3ply (or 4ply) gradient yarn cake. The idea being that you work a repetitive pattern and watch the colours change as you go and at the end you only have two ends to sew in.

I rate this pattern as easy/intermediate. Easy because once you get the hang of the six row repeat, it becomes a relaxing hook. Intermediate because the first seven rows require some thinking. There is nothing too difficult for a new crocheter though, maybe just a touch challenging :)

please note that beginning ch3 counts as first treble/US double throughout

Please note the finished size is based on my version, you can make it any length you prefer.

Please note that currently (17.10.17) Cottonflowers are not trading on Etsy, I have included a number of substitute yarns above and in CAL blog post linked above.
