Ljus (pronounced /jʊəs/ or ‘yews’) means light. This design is made with light in mind, long Scandinavian summer evenings when the sun barely sleeps. A light weight asymmetrical shawl it’s a great layer for both summer and for cold winters.

The colours are a collaboration with Down Sheepy Lane.

Tassels and pompoms!
Tassels and pompoms are just so much fun to play with. Several of the testers added pompoms to their shawls, and I added tassels to mine. A tutorial for making tassels without template is available on www.brixtonpurl.com.
