Created with a fingering weight yarn, this lightweight scarf was inspired by the weathered lobster traps which pile up on the fishing docks of the northern New England coast line. Simple to make, the stitch pattern can be easily memorized.

Finished size: 5” wide by 60” long (or desired length).

Yarn substitution is possible-- any sock/fingering, sport, or dk weight yarn would be suitable. Of course, a heavier yarn would result in a wider scarf.

My thanks to Magichook for testing the pattern for me AND for creating a matiching pair of Lobster trap Fingerless Gloves. At my encouragement, she wrote up the pattern instructions so that anyone else who would like to create a set will have them.
