LO·KI raglan sweater is a low-key, elegant and contemporary sweater. It has an oversized fit and features long, cosy sleeves and body, and a generous turtleneck. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round. The sleeves are knitted separately and then joined with the body on a long circular needle. The sweater is then shaped using raglan decreases, and subsequently, the neck is shaped with German short rows while working raglan decreases at the same time. LO·KI raglan sweater is designed to accommodate the specific characteristics of unspun Nutiden yarn from Höner och Eir. It makes a good beginner project not only to those new to knitting with unspun yarn but it is also a good project for a first raglan-type sweater. It is knit in stockinette stitch, holding two strands of yarn together.
For an oversized fit, choose a size 15-25 cm larger than your actual chest circumference, for a relaxed fit - 10-15 cm larger. For reference: the sample in the photo is in size 3 with 25 cm positive ease.
