Description: Long Weekends are for putting your feet up, relaxing, and of course, knitting! The Long Weekend socks are knit in the round, cuff-down, with a heel flap and gusset. An afterthought heel or short row heel would also work well with this pattern, though instructions are only included for heel flap.

Method: knitting

Skill Level: this would be a light to medium challenge if you are new to sock knitting and if you are experienced, this is an easily memorizable pattern with a nice rhythm.

Yarn: fingering weight

Yardage: 100 g MC, 25 g CC

Needles: US2 (2.75 mm) or whatever size allows you to achieve gauge.

Approx. Gauge: 32 sts x 56 rows in ribbed pattern and 28 sts x 42 rows in stockinette for 10 cm x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in) washed and blocked.

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4) based on a foot circumference of 17.5 (20, 22.5, 25) cm or 7 (8, 9, 10) in.
