The Lorelai Socks are named after the charismatic, lively and witty, Lorelai Gilmore from Gilmore Girls. Despite her playful and carefree exterior, Lorelai is deeply caring and loyal, especially towards Rory and her close-knit circle of friends. She can be impulsive and a bit stubborn, often using humour to deflect from her vulnerabilities. At her core, Lorelai is warm, optimistic, and passionate, with a strong sense of self and a deep love for the small-town community of Stars Hollow.

The Lorelai Socks are an easy to memorise, 4 row repeat, providing a lovely all over texture pattern that will undoubtedly become a firm favourite, in much the same way as their name’s sake.

The Lorelai Socks are knitted cuff-down using a slip stitch, heel flap and gusset construction, and my Swirl Toe, but feel free to substitute your own particular favourites.

The pattern is suitable for beginner knitters through to more experienced knitters. I would recommend using tonal / semi-solid / solid or a lightly speckled yarn to define the texture pattern.
