Pay What Works: Inspired by the models of other designers that I trust and respect, I’m now offering a “Pay What Works” model. I like this model because it accurately reflects the pride that I take in all of my designs and the effort that I put into them, while staying true to my heart: that knitting should be accessible to everyone, no matter what their current life situation.

I’m offering coupon codes to let you “choose your price” for this pattern. Each of these codes will adjust the cost of the pattern to the final cost listed below (the cost listed is what you pay, not the discount amount). Please choose a price that you feel represents my work, but that also allows you to take joy in knitting this pattern without stress or financial burden.

NORICHAN1 - $6.00

NORICHAN2 - $7.20

NORICHAN3 - $9.60

NO CODE - $12.00

Please note for those located in Europe that VAT is applied at checkout.

Other ways to support my work is through leaving a tip via Ko-Fi, or becoming a supporter via Patreon.

Lost Lake is a top down, triangular shawl that uses two skeins of fingering weight yarn. Please keep in mind that this shawl took all but a couple yards of Color A for the designer, so if your gauge or yardage varies, you may need a second skein.

This shawl is so fun with three different stitch patterns that were all inspired by the theme of Waterways. It is so much fun to work up, and even more fun to combine different colorways for… You may find yourself wanting to work up a second one as soon as you’re done with your first! <3

Lost Lake was originally designed for the Rose City Yarn Crawl Mystery Crochet Along. It is inspired by the 2018 theme, Waterways.

Check out their group page to see projects in progress and finished pieces.

Black Trillium Lilt (85% superwash merino, 15% mulberry silk; 405yds (370m)/3.5oz (100g)
Color A: Super Happy Fun, 1 skein or 325yds (297m) of a fingering weight yarn
Color B: Pacific, 1 skein or 405yds (370m) of a fingering weight yarn

This yarn has now been discontinued. Any fingering weight yarn will work! For some brands that do speckled yarns, take a look at: Kindred Red, JunkYarns, Knitted Wit, Hawari Bazaar, Plank and Stella, Republica Unicornia, or check with your LYS to see if they can help you find a fun color combo! This design looks great in solids, semi-solids, variegated, or speckled yarns! <3
