Pattern Description from The Best of Interweave Knits: “This little top, worked in bamboo yarn, combines a delicate repeating lace pattern with a square neckline and unusual shoulder detail. To avoid side seams, the body is worked in the round to the armhole. From there, the front and back are worked separately back and forth in stockinette stitch. A smooth shoulder line and interesting bodice detail are created by extending the back over the shoulders and then sewing the straps, at a slight angle, so that the seams are visible on the front.”

Finished Size: 33¼ (39, 44, 48)“ (85.5 99, 112, 122 cm) bust circumference.

Yarn: DK weight (#3 Light).
South West Trading Company Bamboo (100% bamboo; 250 yd 229 m/100 g): turquoise green, 2 (3, 4, 4) balls.

Needles: Body - sizes 6 (4 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm): 24” circular (cir). Neckband - size 5 (3.75 mm): 16” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; removable markers or safety pins; tapestry needle.

Additional Gauge: 23 stitches and 35 rounds - 4” (10 cm) in lace pattern on smaller needle after blocking.

Note: The first 9 rounds of lace pattern are worked on larger needle to keep the hem from pulling in; all successive rounds are worked on smaller needle.
