The Love and Kisses Beanie features a graph done using the waistcoat stitch. (If you’re not familiar with this stitch, there are several tutorials on YouTube you can watch to acquaint yourself with it before you begin.)

This hat is perfect as a quick project for Valentine’s Day, and the color combinations are endless. It can be adorned with a pom-pom, or left plain.

The finished dimensions should give you a band approx. 20” around, and a height (incl. band) of 9,“ when using the recommended worsted weight yarn and a 5.5mm hook, and is designed to fit snugly on an adult. You’ll need 3 colors of yarn to complete the hat: approx 100-125yds of the main color, approx 50-75yds of the second color, and approx. 25-35yds of the third color. That it requires such small amounts of each color, makes this a great stash-busting project!
