The Sutherland Slouch is textured hat with a ton of slouch. Making use of worsted weight yarn (approx. 175-300yds), it combines the waffle stitch and hdc in the 3rd loop to create a nicely textured, squishy and warm fabric, that will keep your head toasty warm in winter!

The Sutherland Slouch works well for men or women, and comes in sizes for Toddler/Child, Teen/Sml Adult, and Lg Adult. If you’d like a little less slouch, the pattern is very easy to adapt for a more fitted look too! And it looks great with a pom-pom or without.
