A whimsical pattern set that can make a beanie style hat and ear warmer. The samples are knit in Kraemer Perfection Worsted, but you could easily use leftover worsted weight yarns. It knits up quickly. The hat uses approx 75g total (about 3/4 of a skein equivalent), and the ear warmer uses approx 48g total (about half a skein equivalent).

The pattern is charted for the shamrock portion. Knowledge of stranded knitting is required, but as this only has a small charted section, this would be a great introduction to stranded knitting.

Simple, yet the color changes keep it interesting and fun.
