Luftikus Socks

A fine slip stitch pattern on the instep beautifully adorns these cute ankle socks. A heel tab, the tried-and-tested Lane Socks heel and the stretchy Luftikus pattern keep the socks in place even when worn in running shoes. But was is a Luftikus? It is a happy-go-lucky guy

Sizes
4 widths, 60 sts / 64 sts / 68 sts / 72 sts. For foot length specifications, please see size table.

Suggested yarn
All sock knitting yarns with a yardage of 360 - 425 m/100 g (393 – 465 yds) will work fine.

Notions
1 or 2 circular knitting needles in sizes 2.0 – 2.25 (US 0 – 1)/ 2.25 – 2.5 mm (US 1 – 1.5), cables 80 – 100 cm (32 – 40”) long, or other needles for knitting in the round.
2 stitch markers, tapestry needle, row counter (optional).

Gauge
31 sts / 48 rnds = 10 cm (4“) square, knitted in stockinette stitch in the round, after washing and blocking. Measured on a sock blocking board.

Luftikus Shorties

Ein feines Hebemaschen-Muster schmückt diese kurzen Socken am Oberfuß. Die Fersenlasche, eine Variation der beliebten Lanesocks-Ferse, sowie das stretchige Luftikus-Muster halten die Socken auch im Laufschuh an Ort und Stelle.

4 Weiten, 60 M / 64 M / 68 M / 72 M, Längen siehe Größentabelle.

Garnvorschlag
Alle Sockengarne mit einer LL von 360 - 425m / 100 g.
Für Weite 64 M, Länge 38/39, gestrickt auf 2,25 mm Nd, habe ich ca. 48 g benötigt.

Werkzeuge
1 oder 2 Rundstricknadeln 2,0 - 2,25 / 2,25 - 2,5 mm, mit mind. 80 – 100 cm langem Seil oder entspr. Nadelspiel.
Die Nadelstärken sind ein Vorschlag. Bitte an die eigene Strickfestigkeit, Vorliebe und das verwendete Garn anpassen.
Nähnadel zum Vernähen der Fäden, evtl. Rundenzähler, 2 Maschenmarkierer

Maschenprobe
31 M / 48 Rd auf 10 x 10 cm, glatt re in der Rd gestrickt, gewaschen, auf dem Sockenbrett gemessen.
