Note
This scarf is worked in the round. The solid color sections at the beginning and end of the scarf take approximately one skein of MC. Keep an eye on your yardage and make sure you don’t go beyond 50g on the first section. Work as many full repeats as you can so there will be enough to create a matching section at the end of the scarf. The two-color section takes approximately 100g of MC and 200g of CC. Work as many full repeats of Section 2 that CC will allow, before running out. During the rows which are worked with MC and CC there will be long float in which one of the colors will be carried behind. Make sure to leave the floats loose enough to avoid the surface of the fabric from puckering or tack the floats down on these particularly long sections. Since the scarf is a tube, there should be no worries of the floats catching on something once it is finished.
The charts in this pattern are slightly different from conventional color work charts and this is to create a jogless seam along the scarf. To achieve this jogless seam, half of pattern repeat is off set. Once the repeat is worked a few times it is very easy to fall into the rhythm of the pattern.
