This DK weight cowl has folded hems on both edges and is close-fitting to the face and neck making it a perfect accessory for frigid winter weather.

This pattern is a great introduction to stranded colorwork. The cowl is worked seamlessly, top-down, in the round with stranded colorwork which has a maximum of 5 consecutive stitches so that catching floats is not required. Techniques include casting on, knitting, purling, stranded colorwork, knitting through the back loop (ktbl), and binding off.

Check boxes are provided throughout the pattern to keep track of your progress.

Colorwork is charted only.
