Inspired by the phases of our beloved moon, these Luna Mittens depict half of the moon’s cycle in either full or open moon motifs. This stranded colorwork pattern is worked in the round using two colors with an “Eclipse” dark CC on light MC option and a “Starry Night” light CC on dark MC option in four sizes.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Needles
Set of four or five US 3 (3.25 mm) double pointed needles or set of circular needles for knitting in the Magic Loop method;

Set of four or five US 5 (3.75 mm) double pointed needles or set of circular needles for knitting in the Magic Loop method;

Or any needle that achieves gauge/desired size.

Yarn & Yardage
Two contrasting colors in DK weight

MC = 120 - 140 yards / 110 - 128 m
CC = 90 - 120 yards / 83 - 110 m

Your MC/CC usage will vary depending on which color you choose to knit your cuff. Sample pictures with approximate yardage for both options are included in the pattern.
