Knitting pattern for Mabel the Sheep, PDF download.

This is an easy to knit sheep designed by Sardines For Tea and highly regarded, much published designer, Sue Jobson.

This pattern includes: instructions to make Mabel the Sheep and her handbag, a list of abbreviations, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is written in English.

Techniques: You will need to be able to cast on and off, knit, purl, knit stitches together, make one stitch, knit through the back loop, increase and sew seams.

You will need:

1 pair 6.5mm (US 10.5) knitting needles
1 pair 4mm (US 6) knitting needles
1 pair 3.25mm (US 3) knitting needles
1 Ball Sirdar black Touch yarn in shade 005
1 Ball Sirdar Snuggly DK black shade 312
Hayfield Aran cream shade 0962
Small amount of contrast yarn for handbag (we used Sirdar Harrap Tweed shade 109)
Toy filling
1 tapestry needle
