Meet Madeline, Dolly Delights one of a kind doll. You can read the story of her creation in a dedicated thread in Dolly Delights group.

About Madeline:

• Madeline is about 43cm/17’’ tall, she can be made as a mainly sitting down doll or a standing doll;
• all her clothing is removable;
• her Outfit consists of: singlet, knickers, socks, dress, shoes and long coat;

Yarns needed:

• you will need double knitting and sock yarns for the body and clothes;
• for the hairstyle I used DollyMo Mohair Boucle, Large Loop yarn;

About this pattern:
This is my most detailed and most photographed pattern, which comes with 3 pdfs:

• Madeline – instructions for knitting in the round using magic loop method, marked with (R) (original design)
• Madeline – instructions for knitting flat, marked with (F) (converted file)
• Supplement – contains detailed explanations and photographs for all the sewing of the body parts (seamless joins are in the Main ITR pattern) and facial features

In addition, I have included a few options for you to choose from when making your doll. As putting of the doll together is always the most challenging part the most choices/options are for this stage. And so, there are:

• 2 options for attaching the arms: seamless – as you knit (ITR only) and seamed (ITR and flat)
• 3 options for attaching the legs: seamless – as you knit (ITR only) and 2 seamed options

As for clothing there are a couple of smaller variations to choose from as well.

Skills needed:
Knowledge of all basic stitches, increases, decreases (including Invisible Increase L and R), German short rows, grafting/Kitchener Stitch, crochet skills.
