This pair uses about 35-50 grams in total of fingering weight yarns depending on your size. Use 2 contrasting yarns. Yarn used for the sample is my own handdyed yarn, occasionally available via my Etsy shop.

Who says you can’t wear handknit socks in summer? These
ankle socks will give you the comfort of wearing handknit
socks, without being too warm. Pair this pattern with a
plant-based sock yarn (whether that’s a blend with cotton,
bamboo, hemp, linen, ramie..) for the ultimate summer
socks.

The colourwork creates small ‘hearts’ in the fabric which I
adore, and the striping makes for a very entertaining knit.
How many pairs will you make?
