PATTERN NOTES
These socks are knit from the cuff down to the toe. The heel is shaped using the heel flap method and the toe is grafted together with Kitchener stitch. A snug section of twisted smocked stitches near the cuff ensures a snug fit around the ankle. Instructions are written for double pointed needles, however Magic Loop technique can be used if preferred. if using Magic Loop, place a marker for each needle change when setting up gusset. When working stranded colour work sections, carry non-working yarns loosely in the back. Foot length is adjustable. Leg circumference is adjustable by changing pattern gauge
