NOTES

This top is worked from the top down. Stitches are first cast on for the front with short-row shaping worked simultaneously on neck and shoulders. The piece is then worked flat to base of armholes. Stitches are then picked up at shoulders to work the back in the same manner. Front and back are then joined at the underarm and worked in the round to the hem. Increasing at the sides and short-row shaping on the lower back give the top a more relaxed fit. The centre front panel is charted. When working the chart, read RS rows from right to left and WS rows from left to right. Sleeve cuffs are picked up around each armhole and worked in the round. Instructions for the sleeve cuffs are written to use DPNs; however, an alternate method of working small circumferences can be used, such as Magic Loop or a short circular needle for the larger sizes.
