Magical Lights

This design happened upon my needles while I was knitting alongside my littlest knitting buddy. I wanted to keep her company, as she patiently wrestled with her first stitches. It felt good to slow down, recall the challenge of first stitches, and simultaneously marvel at the joy in creating fabric.
Northern Lights happened to be lighting up the northeast skies, at the time I was designing this shawl /scarf. Junction Fiber Mills - Making Tracks colorways Blueberry and Hydrangea seemed to mirror the sky colors in my knitting.
This shawl invites you to embrace the dance between colors and simple stitches to create a textured fabric hug.
This asymmetrical triangular shawl flows between Garter Sections, Ripple Rib Panels, and Striped Garter Sections, complemented by a picot bind off.
Shawl is worked with contrasting colors (one solid and one variegated), it could be worked in one color, or two solid colors.
Instructions are written (not charted).
