Update: This pattern is now available on my website, www.TheCrochetArchitect.com, as well as in my Etsy and Love Crafts shops.

The pattern is also available in a kit (with the pattern and the yarn) from Mary Maxim here: https://www.marymaxim.com/collections/new-items/products/....

“The name says it all in this stunning spring pictorial afghan. It’s hard to believe that simple color changes can create such magnificent detail.” (pattern description)

This afghan is worked in single crochet rows of intarsia color changes (yarn bobbins are helpful to use when working intarsia projects). There are 11 colors of yarn used and a colored chart is included (split into 2 half charts because of the size of the chart). A simple single crochet edging is added for stability.

ERRATA:
The names of the 2 yellows used in this afghan are listed backwards in the pattern. The lighter yellow (E) should be #17 Lemon (3 skeins used) and the darker yellow (D) should be #9755 Sunshine (1 skein used).

Whatever 2 shades of yellow you use, please make sure you purchase 3 skeins of the “lighter” yellow, not the “darker” yellow!

The colored squares are placed correctly on the chart, but the yellow names are wrong there, too (D should be Sunshine and E should be Lemon).
