The Malva potholder is named after a traditional South African baked dessert typically made at Christmas time – the Malva Pudding. As a bonus the pattern includes a recipe to make this delicious caramel sticky pudding.

The potholder is worked in the round to form a double layer. It’s thick and durable to keep hands and surfaces safe but are still pretty enough to go on your table. Quick make for a last-minute gift idea.

The pattern can easily be adjusted to any width and/or length. Gauge is not important in this project. The pattern is beginner friendly.

You will need 50gr sport weight cotton yarn to make 1 potholder.
