Mander Park is a local playground whose border is edged with stone and metal walls that come alive in the evening when the geometric design is lit up.

Both the hat and the cowl feature a mirror reflection of the geometrical lines in a stranded colour design. Mander Park Hat and Cowl are knitted in the round and both feature a tubular ribbed edge, however a standard 1 x 1 rib can also be used. The hat has crown shaping.

Additional depth can be added within the stocking stitch section of the cowl if desired. A hat with more “slouch” can be achieved by adding rounds of stocking stitch before crown shaping takes place.
Yarn used is a fingering weight blend.

400 metres of each colour will be enough to knit both cowl and hat, with enough yarn left to knit a further hat if the main colour and contrast colour are reversed.
