Greetings dear friends! Today you will discover an amazing creature, as Harry Potter and thousands of Hogwarts students before him once did. Mandrake can save your life by relieving you from a curse, and at the same time it is very deadly if you don’t know how to handle it. I will try to teach you how to “create Mandragora”. I hope you will be very attentive and then you will undoubtedly have something incredibly magical. Good luck!
For this you need to have certain skills. Let’s check it out!
Your skills:

  1. Cast on stitches using the Judy magic method (using for knitting socks from the toe);
  2. To knit and purl;
  3. Make 1 stitch right or left leaning increase/decrease;
  4. Know how to sew knitted parts;
  5. Knit german short rows.

Magic is impossible without a magic wand and other materials, so you’ll need:

For body: Drops LIMA mix (50g=100m) colour 9024, 1 piese
For leaves: Drops AlPACA uni color (50g = 167m) colour 7885, 1 piese
Needles and supplies: circular needles 3.5 mm with long cable (80 cm), and 3.oo mm for smaller details, scissors, marker, sewing needle, filler for toys (anything you like will fit), stem wire (it used to make artificial flowers), eyes for toys.

Mandragora pattern is knit from the bottom to the top. The body and head are knitted in one piece. Arms, legs, leaves are knitted separately. The wire is needed for the skeleton: for the leaves, arms and legs to make them movable and to give them the desired shape.
