Welcome, my dear friend! I will try to teach you how to create a real fantastic beast - Niffler. I tried very hard to make you comfortable understandable, and most importantly enjoyable and fascinating to knit this toy!

For this you need to have certain skills. Let’s check it out!
Your skills:

  1. To dial in the stitches using the Judy magic method (dialing in the sock knitting loops from the toe);
  2. To knit the front and back stitches;
  3. To add stitches with a left or right bend;
  4. Add stitches;
  5. Know how to sew knitted parts, using a knitting needle;
  6. Knit shortened rows.

Magic is impossible without a magic wand and other materials, so you’ll need:

Yarn for body: Etrofil Belgrade Angora, (color1032), Etrofil Savona Organic yarn, (color 30659);
Yarn for muzzle and paws: Etrofil Belgrade Angora, (color 1029), Etrofil Belgrade Angora, (color 1004).
Or any other yarn you like, most importantly, to match the thickness and blend well.
Needles: 3.00 mm circular, and double pointed needles as well.
For additional materials we will need scissors and a sewing needle. Also eyes for our Niffler (6 mm) and stuffing (hollofiber, wool or other).
Knit on the following principle: head, body and legs knit by one piece, and hands, muzzle, tail and paws separately.
