MantCape Pattern

A cape with a softly flared, cloak-like silhouette that drapes beautifully from the shoulders.
It can be worn casually in place of a coat and is perfect both indoors and outdoors.
With its simple 1×1 rib structure, it’s an approachable project you can enjoy with ease.

Difficulty
The main construction features back-and-forth knitting in 1×1 rib with simple increases.

Construction
The project begins with knitting the collar in 1×1 rib in the round, creating the overlapping front section.
Next, the back neck is shaped with German short rows, then the body is worked back and forth with increases toward the hem.
Finally, pockets are added to complete the piece.

One Size (for women)
To check the fit, measure around the body including the arms.
As a reference, the body circumference with arms included is 125 cm / 49¼“.
Please make sure this measurement feels comfortable for you.

Gauge
18 sts × 23 rows = 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4” in 1×1 rib on 6.0 mm / US 10, after wet blocking.

MantCape のパターン

肩からふんわりと広がる、マントのようなシルエットのケープ。コート代わりにラフに着られ、おうちの中でも外でも大活躍です。
1目ゴム編みのシンプルなつくりなので、気軽に挑戦いただけます。

難易度
「1目ゴム編みで増し目を加えながらの往復編み」がメインの、シンプルな構成です。
増やし目、減らし目のある小物を編んだことがある方にチャレンジいただける難易度です。

概要（ざっくりとした手順）
1目ゴム編みで襟を輪で編み、フロントの重なり部分を作ります。その後、ジャーマンショートロウで前後差をつけながら首の後ろを編み、往復編みで増し目をしながら裾へと進んでいきます。
最後にポケットを付けて完成です。

サイズ感の目安として、腕の外側からボディの周りにぐるっと1周メジャーを当て、
ボディ：125 cmが苦しくないかご確認いただくと安心です。
