This cardigan was knit out of Dyelicious new Desert Breeze base, a DK weight 100% Merino Wool, with 270 yards/4.4oz.

This cardigan was designed with writing in mind; featuring an ink pot and quill pen on the front, scrollwork, and an edging reminiscent of antique writing desks.

The sweater is worked top-down, first flat for the collar ribbing, then in the round for the colorwork, then sleeves are placed on hold and the body is worked flat. Sleeves are worked in the round, and steek stitches in the yoke are cut and reinforced to create the cardigan

Colorwork is charted, and as of November 2021 also includes written instructions for colorwork. This feature has not yet been test knit; if you are interested in getting this pattern free in exchange for testing this feature, please DM me and let me know.
