Hi! This is a super fun and easy pattern to make. I love making washcloths and dishcloths, so for me, designing those patterns are so fun. I have a ridiculous amount of washcloth/dishcloth patterns in my library. It’s such a pain when I want to find a specific one. Anyway, read on for a little bit about this pattern and have fun!

So, I used I Love This Cotton in a solid color for the outside. For the hearts I used Flikka Lion Brand Yarn in Cloud Nine. Some of the best washcloths I’ve made are with two I Love This Yarn colors. For best results, I suggest you use two solid colors, or one solid color and one busy color. Two busy colors don’t look good together.

There is no gauge for this pattern. Gauge is so stressful for me, so I love it when patterns don’t have it. I try to create patterns without gauge so other people who don’t like gauge don’t have to deal with it.

I would say this pattern is beginner friendly. It’s easy to memorize, and you can make a bunch of them in no time at all. They make great gifts, and are fun to make and donate. I made some for my new little sister, Eileen.

This pattern has been tested. It doesn’t say that on the page, but it has, so there shouldn’t be mistakes. Let me know if there are though!!
