This simple eyelet lace poncho looks great on everyone!

This poncho is designed to be knit in either chunky or worsted weight yarn, and the pattern includes detailed instructions for both versions.

This poncho is knit seamlessly in the round, casting on at the neck edge and binding off at the bottom edge.
The pattern is very repetitive, and fun to knit.

Required skills include casting on, knitting and purling in the round, increasing (yo and kfb), decreasing (k2tog), and binding off.

Finished dimensions are approximately 24” circumference around the neck, 60” circumference around the bottom edge, and 15” length (measured from neck to bottom edge).

Chunky weight version requires approx. 370 yds chunky or bulky weight yarn and size 10.5 needles (24” and 32” circulars).
Recommended gauge is 3.5 sts per inch in stockinette stitch.
Sample was knit using 3 skeins of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Chunky, in color 72189 (Barley).

Worsted weight version requires approx. 420 yds worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles (24” and 32” circulars).
Recommended gauge is 4.5 sts per inch in stockinette stitch.
Sample was knit using 2 skeins of Malabrigo Rios, in color Primavera.
