The Marea Hat is inspired by fond memories of going to the beach and spending hours in the water swaying in the waves and chatting with my cousins. It’s a super quick and easy knit that uses slipped stitches and cables that mimic the endless ebb and flow of the tide.

The pattern is written for teen through adult sizes, and has a little bit of slouch.

Recommended yarns include single skeins of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick, Loops & Threads Cozy Wool, Buttercream Luxe Alpaca Solids, or 2 skeins of Lion Brand Hometown USA (adult size only). Any size 6 super bulky yarn will work!
