Mareep
This is a pattern for Mareep, from Pokemon! It’ll shock you how extra-soft and cuddly it is! I used needle felting to make Mareep’s wool out of real Corriedale sheep wool roving. The pattern includes a basic tutorial of how to do this, but you can also make it with craft glue if you prefer!
The gauge provided is a generic gauge for Caron Simply Soft and a 4mm hook, but gauge is not important to this work. It’s more important that you use a hook that gives you a firm, tight weave to ensure there aren’t gaps that expose the stuffing. If you use a different yarn, be sure to make test swatches to ensure you’re using an appropriate hook.
Happy Crafting!
