MATERIALS REQUIRED
• Stylecraft Special DK Charcoal (shade 1128), 9 (10, 11, 13) x 100g balls 2655 (2950, 3245, 3835) m or 2904 (3226, 3549, 4194) yds.
NB If you substitute another yarn, please check tension and yardage.
• 1 Circular needle 4.00 mm x 40 cm (US 6).
• 1 Tapestry needle.
• 3 markers.
ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS
Model wears size M (height 161cm).
Sizes: M, (L, XL, XXL).
Cardigan flat width - 58 (63, 68, 73) cm / 23, (25, 26 ¾, 28 ¾) in.
Cardigan length (from top of the shoulders) - 87, (89, 91, 93) cm /34 ¼, (35, 36, 36 ½) in.
Sleeve length (measured from drop shoulder, unrolled) - 48cm / 19 in.

GAUGE (Tension): 22 sts and 40 rows = 10 cm (4 ins), measured over garter st pattern, (garment being blocked), using 4.00 mm (US 6) needle.
NB Needle size is only a guide - if you get too many stitches for 10 cm, take a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches for 10 cm, take a smaller needle size. It’s very important to check your gauge (tension) before starting as working to the wrong tension will mean your garment won’t be size shown.
