Step out in style with Marled Hoodie Vest- a touch of casual charm!
This vest provides a loose, boxy fit and features drop shoulders, hood, loopy pockets and is knitted using marled Aran (worsted) weight yarn. You can achieve marled effects yourself by holding two, three or more strands together. Combining two strands is very typical but if you have thin yarns, you can put more strands. Options are endless. Make sure to adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner.
Stitches used: K, p, sl1k, sl1p, loop st.

MATERIALS
• Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Aran Wave (shade 110), 8 (9, 10, 11) x 100g balls 1096 (1233, 1370, 1507) m or 1199 (1349, 1498, 1648) yds.
NB If you substitute another yarn, please check tension and yardage.
• 1 Circular needle 5.00mm x 60cm (US 8).
• 1 Circular needle 6.00mm x 60cm (US 10).
• 1 Tapestry needle.

ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS
All sizes are designed to be oversized with approx. + 38cm of positive ease).
(Model wears size M, height 161cm).
Sizes: S (M, L, XL)

Vest flat width - 64 (68, 72, 76) cm/ 25 ¼ (26 ¾, 28 ½, 30) in.
Vest length (from top of the shoulders) 80 cm/ 30 ½ in.

GAUGE (Tension): 17 sts and 18 rows = 10 cm/4 in, measured over stockinette st pattern, (garment being blocked), using 6.00mm (US 10) needle.
NB Needle size is only a guide - if you get too many stitches for 10cm, take a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches for 10cm, take a smaller needle size. It’s very important to check your gauge (tension) before starting asworking to the wrong tension will mean your garment won’t be size shown.
