The sweater is worked top down in stockinette stitch with deep armholes. At the beginning, German Short Rows are worked across the back and shoulders to raise the back neck and create a nice neckline shape. The work then continues in the round in stockinette stitch with raglan increases, followed later by increases only for the sleeves to deepen the armholes and create comfortable ease of movement. The neckline is wide and comfortable, and all edges are worked in 2x2 rib finished with a few rounds of stockinette stitch and a standard bind-off.

As the sleeves and body progress, the stitch count becomes quite large, so it is recommended to use circular needles with long cables.

Choosing the correct size
The sizes are designed with approximately 19 cm positive ease for XS–L, and 15 cm for XL–3XL, measured at the lower rib edge. If your hip measurement is, for example, 96 cm, add 19 cm = 115 cm. Size M will provide 20 cm of positive ease.

The model in the photo has a hip measurement of 83 cm (21 cm positive ease) and is wearing size XS. The sweater is worked in Jensen Yarn colour 6S and Silk Mohair colour 6 (Isager Yarn).
