Marmalade Shred is a charted sock pattern featuring twists and decreases/ increases to create texture and interest. The sock features a v heel and a round toe. It’s very easy to knit and to customise.

Knits up to a size 5-6 but there is plenty of stretch due to the lace pattern.

The colourway is based on the bright, cheery orange of marmalade.

I used a 2.5mm circular for the cuff and a 2.75mm circular needle for the body. You could easily swap this for dps.

I used one skein of Knitglobal sock (orange). You only need about half this to make a pair. I think a single colour really suits this pattern and helps the pattern stand out.

Customising options: Easiest method is to go up several needle sizes or even swap out the 4ply for a dk sock wool.
In the pattern notes I’ve also suggested areas which could be increased to gain a bigger size.

Note that the heel and toe sections of this sock are totally customisable so feel free to add in your favourite heel or toe.

Happy knitting and i look forward to seeing your photos and feedback.
