This top is worked seamlessly from the top down, beginning at the neckline. Increases are worked at the shoulders to create the sloped shoulder line. The front and back are then separated and worked flat. The armholes are shaped using different increase rates on the front and back. At the underarms, the front and back are joined and the remainder of the body is worked in the round. Increases at each side create the A-line silhouette. A lace hem is worked at the bottom of the body. The lace pattern is adapted from the public-domain pattern Martine’s Point Lace, sourced from Knitting-and.com.
