Maryam is named after and dedicated to the loving memory of my beloved mom, Maryam.

Maryam is a versatile overlay mosaic crochet pattern featuring a repeating geometric motif. The design is worked flat using two contrasting colors and can be repeated to create projects in many different sizes.

Use the pattern to create a blanket, bedspread, scarf, shawl, table runner, cushion, or other rectangular projects. By changing the number of repeats, you can easily adapt the design to the size you need.

Yarn & Hook

The original blanket was made using Red Heart Comfort in Purple and Silver Gray with a 4.5 mm crochet hook.

You can use other yarns and an appropriate hook size. Your finished dimensions and yarn requirements will vary depending on your yarn, hook, gauge, and number of repeats.

I recommend making a small swatch of one pattern repeat first. You can then measure your swatch and determine how many repeats you need for your chosen project.
