ABOUT THE DESIGN

Nazli was inspired by my love of geometric patterns and the beautiful possibilities of mosaic crochet. The contrasting colours highlight the repeating motif and create a striking geometric fabric using crochet.

Although this pattern is presented as a hat, the Nazli motif is versatile, too. Makers have used the geometric mosaic design beyond the original hat, adapting it to other creative crochet projects.

The name Nazli is a feminine name used in both Persian and Turkish cultures.

SKILL LEVEL

This pattern is suitable for crocheters who are comfortable with basic crochet stitches and would like to explore overlay mosaic crochet. Both the written instructions and chart are provided to help you follow the design.

My mosaic charts use X marks to indicate the placement of double crochet stitches, making the chart easier to follow alongside the written instructions.
