I am always afraid of my kids losing their mask. With some schools allowing children to go back to school, I wanted to make something to help keep their masks off the floor. From what I understand, schools are going to look for a way to keep the masks from getting on the floor and this could be one option to help with that issue.

This can also be helpful when going out with kids when doing activities.

The lanyard is approximately 17 inches long when the ends are folded to make a loop.

The pattern calls for Caron Simply Soft yarn and an F (3.75 MM) hook. Using other brands may make the lanyard bigger.

Gauge- 4 sc = 1 st

The pattern also includes options for Velcro and buttons.

The name tag slides on the lanyard and you can embroider the child’s initials on it.
