MATOU Shawl is a top-down rectangular shawl worked flat.
With different options to put the ribbon at the end, it is versatile to wear it as a collar, camisole, or skirt, hence the name MATOU, which means to “wear with grace” in Japanese. Two different lace motifs are knitted in two colors of soft monochromatic palette, or clean monochromatic in one color. Each is likely to display its own charming personality. Knitting in your favorite color, and draping it lightly to match the mood of your day – perhaps this is what freedom looks like in the form of a shawl. Needles
US5 (3.75mm), 40” (100cm) - long circular needle. or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge (After blocking) Using US5 (3.75mm) needles.
Chart A: 16 sts × 32 rows / 2.8” (7.2cm) × 3” (8cm)
Chart B: 16 sts × 32 rows / 2.8” (7.2cm) × 4.7” (12cm)

MATOU Shawlはトップダウンで往復に編む長方形のショールです.
オプションのリボンの通し方で形が変わり, つけ襟やキャミソール,
スカートとして身に纏う (MATOU) ことができます.
2種類のレース模様はコントラストのあるバイカラーでも,
おだやかな同系色でも, 潔く1色でも, お好きな色で編んでいただけます.
